Remember what it felt like the last time that you had to go to the airport with one of those old 'carry it in your hand' luggage suitcases? Not fun, was it. Or did you go on the airplane with a box? That's really not a very good idea, you know. They won't take care of a box like they would new luggage. At the very least you should purchase one piece of good luggage. They have size limits anyways; so get one piece of luggage and then you can carry the rest of your things in a carry-on bag or a backpack. For those who already know they're going to be upgrading their luggage, I'd suggest international traveller luggage. It's some of the lightest luggage on the planet. Its ultra-light version can't be beat. You'd think that such a light bag would not be durable; but they are. If you can't pay much, consider purchasing discount luggage sets. Sears and Walmart both have sets which would be right in your price range. Just wait until they have a special on luggage. They have cheap sets of luggage, even a 3-piece set, for as little as $19. You can't believe that? Well, they do. They even have 97 cent shipping right to your house. For less than $20 you could have a really cheap luggage set of three bags. OK, I'll even beat that one. Walmart has a 6-piece Travel Bag set in black for $6 with 97 cent shipping. You think I'm fooling, don't you? Well, I'm not. If quality isn't what you're looking for, and you just want a set of luggage that will be able to go to the place you wish to fly to and back. It's eco-friendly, too. It isn't made from PVC, it's made from polypropylene. The laundry bag is 23" x 19.5" x 8". The travel kit is 11" x 5.5" x 5", the shoe bag is 12" x 16.5". There you go. No, I won't suggest that it would probably last very long. No, I don't think it will be as good as an American Tourister set. There are discount luggage sets that are good quality, and there are those which will probably fall apart pretty fast. |
